A single man

Changes at the Oscars
- The Academy Awards' executive producers Adam Shankman and Bill Mechanic have told the nominated artists for Best Original Song that they won't be performing during the awards. The music from the songs will instead be played along with footage from each movie. The five nominated songs include two from The Princess and The Frog, "Almost There" and "Down In New Orleans", "Loin de Paname" from Paris 36, "Take It All" from Nine and "The Weary Kind" from Crazy Heart.
- the Academy Awards nominees have been asked to prepare TWO speeches — one for the actual telecast up to 45 seconds long talking about what the award means to them and save their thank-yous for a backstage "Thank You Cam" that will be available online after the show for anyone to see.

Neste espírito decidi recuperar algumas covers antigas, lindas e dreamy....
Valentine's day premiere
Gosto
Entretanto a Newline, em histeria com o sucesso do He's just not that into you e o presumível sucesso deste, anunciou já os planos para fazer estrear nos mesmos moldes de todas-as-personagens-são-estrelas um próximo filme a chamar "New Year's Eve" com estrelas diferentes quer do primeiro quer do segundo. Parece-me bem. Fico sempre emocionada com estes line-ups e no fundo é a concretização do mundo de fantasia prometido pelo cinema, porque nunca not in a million years tanta gente tão good looking se encontraria do nada e se apaixonaria.

Suspeito que aquilo que mais temo vá acontecer (you know what it is....e não é só o Avatar, é a Sandra Bullock!), acho óptimo as 10 nomeações para filmes por chamar a atenção para filmes negligenciados ao longo do ano, mas parece-me que não vai ter qualquer efeito nos resultados. Veremos dia 7 de Março!
